My Don Bosco Academy Page

As the words.....................Run, Jump, Make Noise, But Do Not Sin linger in my mind, I remember my high school days in Don Bosco Pampanga. Back in the late 80's Don Bosco Academy was still situated in Bacolor, Pampanga. Unfortunately due to the Mt. Pinatubo volcano blast and the dried lava(lahar) plus a number of typhoon storms caused my old school to be buried from ashes and dirt. I guess high school will be most memorable for me because of all the people I met and the situations I encountered. Though not everything was perfect back then, I still believe that I had the most fun back then. I started my schooling days in Don Bosco in 1985 until I graduated in 1989. My mom and I came from San Francisco, Ca. to persue my studies there since the passing away of my father in '84. I guess by moving back to the Philippines, opened my eyes to my future and who Iam today.

Don Bosco Forever

For some of you who still don't know me, that's me on the left. This was my graduation day and everyone in my year level were all very relieved. After four long years of studies and extra curricular activities, it was all finished !! Many of my classmates and peers had tears in their eyes. I guess it was all because of our parents, I guess you know how sentimental they can get. Even before the event, I told my mother not to cry !!! 'coz I would get so embarassed !! Anyway, I was so relieved that she didn't !! But probably 3/4 of the attendees were in tears.

Graduation Day

The D.B.A Drummer

Probably the most memorable moments for me during my schooling days in Don Bosco was being the school's drummer. W e didn't play wind instruments or anything such as a 'varsity' band would play. My band played upbeat, rock and top 40 songs. We used to play in other schools such as in compititions or just as the mainstay. I guess what turned me on most of the time were the cheers and the aquaintances(he-he). I guess when you are a member of a band, aquaintances before came rather easily !!!
