The Aquinas University of Legazpi Center
for Culture and Arts was chosen by the National Commission on Culture and Arts
to represent the Luzon Region in the Sandiwaan National Circuit Tour. Through this touring grant, the Kantada
production shall be performing in Northern Mindanao for the duration of June 12
to July 07, 2001 and to perform also for the Convergence 2001 at the Cultural
Center of the Philippines, Manila.
Through the efforts of TheArts Philippines Incorporated
Productions Department, to benefit the TAP Institute of Art Research, Training
and Development in pursuing “excellence in the arts,” the Kantada ni Daragang Magayon, Mandirigma, a musical-dance
cultural presentation shall be staged once more at the University of Baguio
Gymnasium on July 10, 2001.
