Welcome to my personal web site dedicated to the sale of comics! Why am I selling these comics? Well, I'm getting married in 2002, and would like to buffer the cost of the wedding. Also, I've recently purchased a number of large comics collections, and would like to clear out some of the unwanted or duplicate issues. Check out my updates section at the bottom of this page!

2. To provide sufficient information about the comics and my ordering terms to allow you to make an informed purchase.

WHY BUY FROM ME?

While my selection may not be as big as retailers such as Mile High Comics, I can offer competitive price & service. I don't have high overhead or costs to worry about, which means I can pass on these savings to you! I also promise prompt and personal customer service. I usually respond to questions or comments within 48 hours.

all prices in US funds.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

US cash (well concealed)
international postal money order (bank or postal) negotiable in CANADA
Billpoint (mandatory Xpresspost shipping)
Paypal (mandatory Xpresspost shipping)

Note: Buyer assumes risk and responsibility associated with the sending of payments.

SHIPPING COSTS:

Here are the guideline shipping costs (shipped via Canada Post), based on quantity ordered. NOTE: I am willing to haggle on shipping costs too!!

10-19 comics        $7.00
20-29 comics        $10.00
30-49 comics        $12.00
50-60 comics        $15.00
70-89 comics        $17.00
90+ comics           $21.00

For Xpresspost shipping, please multiply shipping totals by 1.4.

SHIPPING TIMES:

Standard shipping: Up to 10 days for 1-10 comics, up to 21 days for 10+ comics. Economical, but uninsured and not traceable.
Xpresspost shipping: Maximum of 4-5 days anywhere in North America. Your purchase price is insured, and the item is traceable, and has less chance for damage. Costs a bit more, but less risk and it is faster.

I recommend the Canada Post Xpresspost option. A bit pricier, but worth every penny. Ultimately, the decision is up to you - as long as you are aware of your options.

PACKAGING METHODS

I package the comics in four different ways, depending on the number of comics to be shipped:

Bagged and boarded, taped on all sides to a stiff piece of corrugated cardboard, or sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard and placed inside a large envelope with a "PLEASE DO NOT BEND" label;
Same as (1), but with a padded bubble envelope with a "PLEASE DO NOT BEND" label;
Placed in a sturdy cardboard box, with bubblewrap and/or packaging peanuts with a "FRAGILE - DO NOT DROP" label; or
Xpresspost shipments are either sent like (1) in pre-made stiff postal envelopes, or like (3).

All methods have been tried and tested for protection and security, and are used to protect items from reasonably foreseeable damage while in transit to you. PLEASE NOTE THAT BY PURCHASING FROM ME, YOU ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE THAT IS NOT REASONABLY FORESEEABLE (such as, but not limited to: excessive trauma to package, water/fire damage, vandalism, inspection by customs officials). I unfortunately have to make this explicit because of an unpleasant experience with an unreasonable customer. Please see my recommended shipping method above.

ALL PRICES (including shipping costs ) ARE NEGOTIABLE - it just depends on what you want and how large our deal will be
all sales final - by remitting payment buyers are deemed to have read, understood and accepted all terms and conditions
scans of comics available upon request, and can usually be provided within 24-48 hrs
given that this is not my full-time occupation, shipments are usually made once a week
