Hidden in a narrow valley and surounded on three sides by protective fort walls riding along the ridges of the Aravali Range, lies the town of Bundi.Presiding over the town is the immmense Palace of Bundi, renowned for its 300 year old murals, painted on the walls of the inner courtyard. It is a city with a rich and colorful history. In the heart of the old city, in amongst the jumble of tangled streets, you'll find Bundi Art Collection, owned and operated by Rajendra Bhardwaj.

The building housing Bundi Art Collection has quite an interesting history in and of itself. The havali, or mansion, was built by the former Deputy Prime Minister of Bundi, Kishori Lal Chanderiya (who also happens to be the great-grandfather of Rajendra), over 130 years ago.

Inside the Gallery section of this site are specific paintings from four different regional styles: Bundi, Mughal, Udaipur, and Kishingarh. Price and size information are included with each painting.
