Bidder Registration: Bidding and acknowledgement will be by number only. All persons intending to bid shall register prior to the sale and obtain a bidder's number.
Payment Terms: Cash, Cashier's Check, or personal check with photo ID. Delivery of selected items in the auction may be delayed until out-of-town check clears bank.
Reserve Items: Consigned artwork may have a minimum or reserve price. In the event the minimum bid is not obtained, the piece will be withdrawn from the sale and returned to the seller within three days after the sale.
Bidding disputes: If any dispute arises between two or more bidders, the Auctioneer may, at his sole option, put the item up for sale again and resell to the highest bidder.
Inspection: Items to be sold at this auction will be posted on the web site: http://www.angelfire.lycos.com/art/buffalobid Inspecton of items will also be available from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the La Fonda Hotel the day of the sale, May 15, 2001.
Gross Receipts Tax:. New Mexico Gross Receipts tax of 6.4375% will be added to the final bid on all items sold. Dealers exempt from this tax must present a valid tax exemption certificate when registering for the auction.
Absentee bids: Absentee bids and broker participation are invited. If you cannot attend the auction and would like to place an absentee bid, or bid live by telephone, please contact the Auctioneer at buffalo@zianet.com, or 505-443-1239 to make the necessary arrangements.
