About the Artist Jackson is a Fine Artist. His interest in Art goes back to his childhood. Upon graduating from High School. Jackson received a scholarship and attended the California College of Arts and Crafts. He attended the college for two semesters. He received an A.A. degree in Fine Arts from Laney Jr. College. He also studied Graphics Arts. He later went to the Academy of Art College in San Francisco. He attended the Academy for about 1 year. While attending the San Francisco Art College, He studied painting under Joan Brown. After attending the Academy of Art College Jackson went on to get a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts at California State University Hayward. While attending there. He studied watercolor painting under California artist Mel Ramos and Print Making under Mich Kohn. He also studied painting under Raymond Saunders.
