OSLO GALLERY, 1995

The residents of Oslo, are congenial and will not let an American practice their language, because they want to practice English. When I tried Norsk, they stared at my mouth and asked what language I was speaking.
When I got used to that, everything opened up.
It was a great pleasure to sometimes, sell a painting that was not yet completely dry, on the streets that weren't completely dry.
The Monolith in Viegland's sculpture park is hidden from (New York regionalized) modern art history, as are all his works concealed by the "politically correct" deconstruction paradigm. My first time in the park made me cry, for some reason that I can't explain.
These paintings were done during a visit to Oslo, Norway, three months in 1995.
The first real Spring that I ever beheld, came late at the age of sixty.
to watch the spring, as it welled, and the trees came green so quickly.
beautiful buildings disappeared,and the sun slid sideways.
