The terminology used in learning Latin grammar can be daunting at first. If you need to be reminded at any time of the meaning of any term used in this course you should refer to the GLOSSARY OF ENGLISH-LATIN GRAMMAR
at the beginning of RLG (pages xvii-xxiii)There is a range of different tasks and exercises you will be asked to carry out during this course e.g.
- revise (ie ensure you can recite) a verb or noun
- read a grammar note in RLG
- complete an exercise in RLG
- complete an exercise in LS
- read and translate a passage from RLT
NOTE:
- All exercises will involve handling Latin. You will not have to translate from English into Latin
- bullet points give my advice to you
- boxes tell you to do exercises
