YPWABOUT OUR PROGRAM |
||||
The Centenary Young Performer's Workshop is dedicated to the enrichment of young lives
through the use of theatre arts and serves as a greenhouse for cultivating young
performers. The program is one of the few that offers both formal training
and production experience for young people. Career-minded individuals can prepare for the
rigors of a professional career, yet students not aiming for a professional career benefit
from the program with its emphasis on discipline, self-worth and developing communication
skills.

"Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" "As parents, we love the program. The major highlight of this program is Michael Blevins. The children love him and want to work for him. He demands that they work as young professionals and they do it willingly. He cares about them as individuals, and they in turn want to make him proud." - John and Angela Sepe, Parents of a Young Performer "Amost unique program...the Skylands area of Northwestern NJ is fortunate indeed to have this quality, theatrical bonanza in its midst." - Skylands Visitor "I've been attending theatre by young people for decades and I've yet to see the likes of what Michael Blevins and the Young Performers do." - Peter Felicia, Theatre Critic, The Star Ledger
