VICTOR AVILA, YPW graduate, has been accepted into the highly noted New York Film Academy. Victor begins his studies in filmmaking in September of 2002 - Congratulations, Victor! [Look out Mr. Speilberg!]

YPW graduate, Joe Harrington is performing in the National Tour of Neil Simon's "They're Playing Our Song" starring Erin (Happy Days) Moran. He returns to Emmerson this Fall to continue his studies in Musical Theatre Arts.

Marybeth Fritzsky has landed a leading role in the National Tour of "As You Like It" - you go Marybeth!

Robin Geopfert, YPW Alumni, recently performed in GYPSY with Donna McKechnie. Robin is understudying the role of June.

Michlle Messina, YPW graduate, has landed a job at the Naples Dinner Theatre in Florida. She'll be understudying the role of Kristin in A CHORUS LINE as well as covering two other leading roles. She'll be dancing in the opening and doing the "I've got to get this job...." solo. Congratulations, Michelle!

Stephanie Templin, recent YPW graduate, now attending County College of Morris where she is currently seeking an Associates Degree in Drama/Acting on a FULL Performing Arts Scholarship. Ms. Templin also appeared in Moliere's French farce, "The Would-Be Gentleman" directed by Jake Berger, of the New Jersey Skahespeare Festival

YPW graduate, Alex Tejero, made his television debut as a guest star on the noted kids shows "Blues Clues" plus he's freelancing with several NYC Agents.

Lousi Trenta, YPW graduate, appears at the professional Prince Theatre in Philidelphia in "The Lion, The Withc & The Wardrobe".

YPW graduate, Peter Romaniello, is currently charming European audiences
in the International Tour of GREASE. Peter is in
the Ensemble and understudies one of the leads.

Nicole Wintemberg now training at Wagner lands job in principal role in the SESAME STREET Live National Tour - good Luck on the road Nicole. Before transferring from Catholic University to Wagner - At CU, she was the only
female freshman in every mainstage musical including DAMES AT SEA,
in which she was in the Ensemble and understudied the
role of Joan. Congratulations, Nicole.

YPW graduate, Ryan DeFoe will is currently performin with Mikhail Baryshnikov in PASTForward at the Shubert Theatre in Boston where he is studying on a substancial scholarship, in the Musical
Theatre program at Boston Conservatory!

Having graduated from Broadway's
Circle in the Square Theatre School, Justin Boccitto will be performing at the MacHayden Summer Theatre in New York where they've signed him to understudy the lead in George M!/Yankee Doodle Dandy and dancing in the ensemble. Plus, he choreographs the Clarkstown Summer Theatre musical CRAZY FOR YOU. Boccitto made his NYC debut
appearing Off-Broadway in LUCRECE, directed by
Ed Berkely, this last Spring.
He's also, freelancing with agent John Shea of Frontieer Booking, Inc. Congratulations, Justin.

YPW graduate, Ron Moorhouse, recently guest starred on NBC's
sit-com MYOB

Michael Penna, YPW graduate, was nominated for the Papermill Rising Star Awards for his portrayal of Harold Hill in "The Music Man". Michael will be attending Syracuse University in the Fall with a double major in Musical Theatre and Music Education. This summer he lends his assistance to the Meadowbrook Summer Day Camp - break-a-leg, Penna!

YPW graduate, Jonathan Lightcap, star's in Muhlenberg'Summer production of "Crazy For You". Congratualtions, Jon-Jon - you know, if you're a guy - they love you if you can tap dance! Jonathan will be attending Muhlenberg in the FAll.

The following recent YPW graduates will be continuing their theatre studies at:


Sarah Bell, is a sohpomore at Fordham University, Lincoln Center. NYC where she has appeared in Black Box productions of: "Stop Kiss", where much to Blev's chagrin she bared it all, Checkov's "The Bear" as Popova, and "Necessary Targets" by Eve Ensler where she played the Lead "J.S.". Over the summer Bell performed in a new play "Unheard Of" at the Blue Heron Theatre in NYC. Sarah is currently in rehearsals for "Vera" penned by Paul Hagen who also wrote "Unheard Of". She currently resides in New York City and looks forward to a long a lucrative career in the performing arts.
