I never knew her.
I never met her.
I only know you loved her and miss her.
I can only understand in part.
Part of me is thankful for this;
another part of me wants to feel with you
so you will not feel so alone.
I can only do this much for you, my friend.
Only give you candles to light your night
flowers to sweeten the void
music to banish the silence
soft words to cushion your fall
and angels to watch over you.
Dearest Debbie:
A white-golden angel for you
who'd like to help you come through
those very difficult times.
Maybe she's even singing some lines
to you and your sister
do you hear her whisper?
--by Delorita
When you walk through a storm
Keep your chin up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm
Is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark...
Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone....
Words by Oscar Hammerstein III
Music by Richard Rodgers
I know you don't speak German, but I'm putting in Del's translation of this song to let you know her mind is with you:
Wenn du durch einen Sturm wanderst
Halte dein Kinn hoch
God will make a way
where there seems to be no way,
He works in ways we cannot see,
He will make a way for me;
He will be my guide,
hold me closely to His side,
with love and strength for each new day,
He will make a way.

What Does It Mean to Live?
Since the beginning of time, mankind has wondered
What the Gift of Life means for us all.
And as I search for comforting words, I ponder
None come to me, so on my knees I fall.
This brings me to a place of life
Where peace and joy abound.
And in this place, there is no strife
Only celebration of life is found.
For death did not come to your mother,
She now lives in peace and love.
And we, as your sister and brother,
Join her, as she watches from above.
She asks us to help you be strong,
And help you to carry your load.
She begs us to fill you with song,
And remind you of all she had told.
So you see, Debbie, your mother is here
In our hands, our faces, our hearts.
And in this way, you'll always hold dear
A mother's love, that never parts.
Love, Maryann
