A Little About Us....
I am currently a student in the Criminal Justice field and working as a security guard. My fiance is in the lawn care business. He is 26 yrs old. We have been together almost 3 yrs and living together for 2 yrs. We plan to get married sometime in October. We live in Arkansas and have a pretty good life except for the worries of his daughter.
Now for the rest of the story about his daughter....
There have been times when her mother wouldn't even meet me somewhere or tell me where she lives in order for us to take their daughter back to her. To me it as if she wants us to keep her all the time but yet her get child support and other benefits for the baby.
She has called me and said that if I didn't come pick the child up she was going to drop her and her things on my door step and leave her there. To me she treats her so bad. She's always yelling at her, she won't try to potty train her or even teach her how to eat by herself.
The mother has told me that the little girl is up for 2-3 hours by herself before anyone else gets out of bed in the morning. This can't be safe for a 3yr. old! There have also been times where her mom has called and needed food in order to feed the baby. To me this should be reason enough for C.P.S to get involved, but so far we haven't been able to get them involved. Thus, the reason we are seeking help in getting a lawyer.
I know some of you guys would like to see a picture of her but because of safety issues within the internet I prefer not to paste one on this website. I will however send a picture out to anyone who donates. I will also keep them updated (only if they choose to) on how everything is going.
