'87 S10

Matt has been very busy the last couple of years, between playing baseball and work and working on his truck, this college ball player has been able with some help to put together a very clean 87 S-10.

The truck is powered by the original 2.8L 6cyl but he has added Accel cap and rotor and wires and Bosch platinum-4 wires. The air is sucked through a K&N filter and the gases get dumped out through a custom 2.5” exhaust featuring a hi-flo cat and Flo-Pro Twister muffler. The exhaust exits under the Sir Micheal’s roll pan through a stainless 3” oval tip.

Matt has cleaned up the rear by adding Euro lights and a Checkmate smoothy tonneau cover.

The interior was in pristine condition and has been left as is – for now, Matt has added a 12” Clarion sub powered by a Kenwood 600W amp. The Clarion deck pushes the signals through the Clarion Pro Audio mids and tweets.

Up front Matt has installed Diamond clear headlights and driving lights along with a fiberglass airdam.

The ride height was brought down to earth using DJM 3”lowering blocks and 2” drop spindles.

Matt stops his dime with the help of ceramic pads and vented rotors. Currently the truck rolls on 15” retro Camaro Z28 wheels with BFG rubber. Matt is working on installing 18” Center Line wheels and Falken rubber.
