1990 Chevy Sport K1500 (C1500)

This truck was originally a 4x4 Sport, Baino has owned the truck since its' birth, it has been well maintained and well driven. Currently the truck has over 580,000kms on the chassis. With the latest transformation, the truck will be receiving a 454 CID Gen V big block, hooked to a Lentech Modified 700-R-4 overdrive tranny. The rear end has been beefed up with an Eaton Posi with 3.73 gears. Headman 2.5" ceramic coated headers channel the exhaust throught the custom bent 2.5"Valley Thunder exhaust sytem (Hi flo cats and Twister mufflers) with Flowmaster tips out under the Extreme Composites Corvette C5 roll pan. The exhaust was installed/custom bent by Mike's Service Centre.

The Extreme Composites C5 ram air hood, allows fresh air to flow into the big block, while under hood hot air is channeled through the Goodmark vented outer fenders.

The 454, was treated to ARP polished stainless bolts throughout as well as aluminium flamed valve covers, breathers and air intake which houses the 4x14" K&N filter. The TBI was fitted with matched injectors. The tranny has been fitted with a B&N tranny cooler to free up the stock rad. A new hi volume fan blade was installed on the clutch assembly. As well a hi-flo Milodin water pump keeps the big block cool.

A custom billet GMC grille has been added to clean up the Chevy's front end as well we have frenched in the plate into the smoothy front bumper, a new airdam with a billet insert and driving lights is being added to finish the front end. Crystal clear lights keep the road well lit.

The interior was redone and is receiving new black carpet and black Tomada racing seats with red RCI street belts.There is new black fabric on the head liner and door pillars as well as painted dash panels.

The massive sound system with 4 x 12" Earthquake subs in a custom Serious Sound box and a custom stepped amp rack between the seats, housing the 2 x 1000 watt and 1 x 600 watt Clarion Pro Audio juice makers. The 6 speakers in the cab are powered by the Clarion Pro Audio 600watt amp. Serious Sound did all the custom installation. The Powermaster chrome 240 watt alternator keep the Optima battery at full charge. The Audiovox 7" DVD allow for great movie watching!

The truck rides on 18" BOSS 304 wheels wrapped in Dunlop PTR1 265-60-18 skins. Stopping this monster is achieved with ceramic pads and 12" vented discs and braided steel flex lines. Coming up the rear the stock tailgate was swapped out for an Extreme Composites C5 tailgate with Corvette tailights and shaved tailgate handle.

Paint is Dupont 99 black on top over a white base clear, with flames created by Erik Habel.
