This page is designed to help you get to know me better! The following are a few of my favorite things.
Aerosmith is one of my favorite bands! My obsession with Aerosmith began when I worked at their rollercoaster. I listened to their music all day while at work and came to appreciate it. The lyrics to their songs are very relevant and true. I have met the band three times, and they are all lovely people. Mr. Tyler, the lead singer, is one of the most alive people that I have ever encountered. He loves life and tries to spread his joy to everyone that he meets. The band, the music, and everything that they stand for is inspirational.
Cirque du Soleil is a modern day circus. The Cirque du Soleil company was founded in Canada because the founders believed that it was wrong to use animals in a circus. Cirque du Soleil shows are very entertaining, and use only humans. The Cirque du Soleil shows are also very artistic and tell a story. The stories are about humanity and are meant to be inspirational. I have seen Veraki, Drallion, Allegria, and la Nouba. If you enjoy any form of performance you will definitely enjoy Cirque du Soleil!
Color Guard is my favorite past time. I have been in Color Guard since I was a freshmen in high school. I became the captain of the Radnor High School Color Guard as a Junior and held the position through my senior year. I have been on the JMU Color Guard for two years. We perform with the Marching Royal Dukes during the halftime of football games.
Family is one of my favorite things. Pictured here is my brother and mother. My brother is named Robert, and he is one year younger than I am. He is a freshmen at the University of Maryland, and is double majoring in Business and Political Science. My mother's name is Jill and she is a Medical Malpractice Lawyer in Philadelphia. She is also a Small Claims Judge and a fellow at the National Research Center for Women and Children. She deals mainly with women's health issues and has testified multiple times in front of the Food and Drug Administration. My brother and mother are my biggest support system and I cherish them dearly.
My friends are very important to me. I have many different sets of friends. The girls here are my closest friends at JMU. On the top row, starting from the left, is Molly M, Julianne, Emily, Jen, and Molly. On the bottom row there is Lauren, Dana, and myself. Not pictured here are my friends from Florida, from Color Guard, and from Radnor High School.
John Kerry is one of my favorite people! Obviously, the country didn't agree with me, but that doesn't change anything. I am a liberal northerner, and proud of it! John Kerry and I share many similar values and concerns. We are both pro-choice, pro-environment, and believe that President Bush is leading the country in the wrong direction. Oh well, maybe 2008 will be a better year.
I grew up on the Phillies! My father was a native Philadelphian and loved the Phillies. He even sold peanuts at the Phillies games when he was in college. As a little girl, he would take me to the games, and we would always sit in our favorite seats behind third base! In 1993, I was able to see the Phillies compete in two World Series games. The World Series itself was unforgettable! To me, the Phillies represent happiness and memories that I have about my father. Even though the Phillies did not have the best season in 2004, I still love them. The following is a table of my favorite current Phillies players and some of their statistics.
I have been going to Walt Disney World since I was 6 months old. In total I have been there 15 times and on the Disney Cruise twice. My family and I vacationed there often and it is my favorite place in the world! I have even worked for Walt Disney World. I worked there during the spring semester of 2004 on an internship. My Walt Disney World College Program internship was in Organizational Leadership. I worked in operations at Disney's MGM Studios in Area 3. I worked the Stars in Motor Cars Parade, Fantasmic!, and at the Rock 'N' Roller Coaster. I am still not tired of Walt Disney World, even after working there for a semester. It truly is the happiest place in the world! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
