General Rules

We do not race back to the yellow at ARP. On the start of any race or attempted start if any car messes up that car will be put to the back (no freebees). Rough driving will not be tolerated at all. If you cause a situation or make contact you will go to the back or be disqualified if officials deems it was avoidable. If a lapped car causes a wreck that takes a car out of the race that is on the lead lap that car will be black flagged or worse.
In the event of a wreck all cars involved will go to the back,
(black flag or put guilty party) to the back.
The only exception is that we will make a call on the lead car that is the only car that has a chance of getting his spot back or any car being took out by a lap car. The only flag to follow the white is the checkered in the event that a wreck on the last lap we will make a call on that situation but we may pay off of the last completed lap(white flag lap) or if we feel the outcome of the race was altered by the incident, or we will line the cars back up as they were before the incident & race the last 2 laps again..
In the event of a car being disqualified for fighting, speeding in the pits, unsportmanlike conduct after the end of any race, going to flagman stand & or announcers stand & or the officials, or cashier that car will lose all monies won. The money that car won will be used to help purchase jackets at the end of year, no other car will move up in position or points.
Rough driving will get you penelized or barred. Hitting cars during a race is considered rough driving, hitting a car after a race or under yellow is stupid & will not be tolerated.
If you can't control the car you are driving you need to move down a class.
(d.q.= disqualified)
1. No mirrors.
2. Cars must pack the track.
3. During lineup if 1 car don't show cars move straight forward if 2 or more in a row line up by points.
4. If you miss lineup you start tailback.
5. Once all cars have reached flag stand you cannot enter track (no speeding on line up pad).
6. Cars jumping the start will be put to the rear.
7. Mufflers required on all cars running headers, any car without mufflers will not be paid unless that car lost the muffler at the races that night & reported it to the officials (new cars to ARP will get 2 week grace period) imca type ok.
8. Special events may be goverened by different rules.
9. ARP reserves the right to change the rules & or program at any time.
10. On restarts lead car lines up single file; the rest of the field lines up two wide. The restart of the race will start when the green flag waves as the lead car comes out of turn four.
11. 3 kidney bars driver side.
12. Fire extinguisher required (if you are caught with no fire extinguisher you get no money or points). must be full unless you used it that weekend at the track.
13. Brakes & starter required.
14. Racing seats only (safe).
15. All lines must be ran through a safety pipe in drivers compartment or no money or points (safety).
16. Racing belts only.
17. Driveshaft painted white & safty chain or loop 1 foot from front of shaft.
18. Safe fuel cells.
19. Wrecker hooks or chains on front & back.
20. No one allowed on track unless ok by official.
21. 2 black flags in one night = d.q. for entire night.
22. All points are calculated with car # not driver.
23. You may go to the pits and return to the track, but you must start tailback and we will not wait on you.
24. If anyone touches a car on the track not OK'd by an official (unless emergency) that car will be d.q.
25. If a car doesn't race for 3 consecutive weeks that car looses all points.
26. Protest & claims must be handed to flagman before protesting car leaves track (track reserves the right to protest any car).
27. Top 3 weigh.
28. Letters same size as #.
29. If rained out before intermission rain out tickets will be issued (no cash refunds). If we make it to intermission & get rained out we will pay 60% of races not completed on the point system.
30. Rainout tickets good only for make up days only.
31. If rained out Saturday, make up on Sunday at 2 pm. If rained out then next Friday at 8 pm (if not announced different).
32. Nerf bars ok.
33. Cars cannot race on a flat if it is tearing up the track.
34. Any asphault pulloff must durometer at least 45.
35. Cars must finish 1/2 of feature to recieve any money. If a car runs 1/2 the feature race but does not finish & drops out it will recieve pay for that race up to $50.00.
36. No 400 or aftermarket blocks in pure stock, bomber, or street stock.
37. No onboard computers.
38. No radios.
39. There must be at least 6 cars for a full race schedule in that class, if not it will pay 50% of reg. purse for that class for that night.
40. No recaps in any class.
41. Feature lineup will be figured by heat race finishes & packing points.
42. All cars must have a driveshaft safety loop 1 foot from front of shaft (make it safe).
43. Safe helments required snell rated.
44. Anyone seeing a driver drinking should report it to a official that will not be tolerated (no drinking & driving).
45. Anyone going to any official to agrue a call will be escorted off ARP property & lose points & all monies won will be forfieted & can be barred.
46. If protested & found illegal, the illegal car will lose all money & points won that night + 75 more points.
47. 2 black flags in 1 night you are d.q. for whole night.
48. If you are black flagged & refuse to leave track or speed thru pits or destroy ARP property including speeding or spinning tires across scales you will be barred & or fined.
49. No obscene jesters.
50. Courtesy rule any car from another track may race with minor rule infractions under courtesy rule but can only win up to $75.00. But must state this in writing when entering the pits or will be considered a legal car which will pay same as everyone else.
51. Fighting will not be tolerated.
52. Any injury must be reported to the ticket booth person (Patti or Wayne) by the conclusion of the races (beforing leaving) or it will not be covered by track insurance. Injuries from fighting are not covered.
53. No one can drive in 2 classes, except you may drive in any class & drive in frontwheel drive & or crusier.
54. No season points for crusier & front wheel drive.
55. We do not tech cars when they come in the gate. Look at the rules.
56. Any rule not covered shall be decided by official, the decision will be final.
57. During a protest track officials may confinscate any part in question for the purpose of getting a tech. question answered by a professional before rendering a decision.
58. All rainouts will be made up the following day on Sunday at 2:00pm if rain persist make up date will be the following Friday night regular time.
59. Mufflers required on all street stocks. Failer to have them on will get you dq during protest. If lost during race advise tech officials immediatly after race.
60. If you cause 2 cautions in a single race you will be dq for that race.
61. Packing the track gets you 10 points. If you don't pack you start on back both heats.
62. No loose or dragging parts allowed.
63. Protest $150.00 pistons, cam, lifters, valve, drive train, chassis. $200.00 all the above + pull trans & check trans & or clutch that cannot be seen from outside. $250.00 all of above + pull oil pan & check for rods & crank. If we have to pull motor $25.00 goes to wrecker.
