111th Oregon Christian Endeavor Convention

March 27-30, 2003

"NO GREATER LOVE"

My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.  Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.  You are my friends if you do as I command.  I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business.  Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my father, I have made known to you.  You did not chose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit---fruit that will last.  Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.  This is my command: Love each other.    John 15: 12-17

CE Pledge

Trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ for strength, I promise Him that I will strive to do whatever He would like to have me do, that I will make it the rule of my life to pray and to read the Bible every day, and to support the work and worship of my own church in every way possible, and that just so far as I know how, throughout my whole life, I will endeavor to lead a Christian life.

CE Scripture

Romans 12:1-2

Therefore, I urge you brothers, in the view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God -this is your spiritual act of worship Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
