Trinity Lutheran provides various ways for people to utilize their skills and abilities for the Lord. Two women's groups provide opportunities for service related projects both far and near. The Mary Guild meets the first Thursday afternoon of each month at the church. The Esther Guild meets the second Tuesday evening of each month in the members’ homes. The guilds take care of the altar, prepare meals for funerals, collect items for the needy, and gather in mission support. They are affiliated with the National Lutheran Women's Missionary League.
Two youth groups provide activities for the youth from fifth grade through seniors in high school. Each group planes recreation, fellowship and service events. The senior high youth group also participates in district and national youth events.
The Praise Singers meet weekly to work on new music and provide special music for our service on Sunday. They practice each Thursday evening at 7:00.
Bible Study opportunities are provided on Sunday morning for all ages and during the week for adults. Each Wednesday at 10:00 a group meets for an hour of Bible Study and another group meets monthly in members’ homes. Each year the church conducts a Vacation Bible School Program for the children of the church and community.
The Christian Service Board is involved in the process of compiling a list of different help organizations that are available in the community. When this project is completed it will be made available to the members of the congregation and the people in the community.
Throughout the year different fellowship opportunities arise. The congregation will gather together for a potluck or barbecue following a worship service several times during the year.
Special worship services during the year provide avenues for the members’ faith to grow and be strengthened. Advent services are held on the Wednesday evenings following Thanksgiving, leading up to Christmas. Special services are held on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to celebrate the birth of our Lord. Starting with Ash Wednesday, the church holds Lenten services for the six Wednesdays prior to Easter. During Holy Week, the week preceding Easter, the church has Maundy Thursday and Good Friday Services. The last special service of the church year is a Thanksgiving service on the evening before Thanksgiving Day.
