Cartoons

Lets face it, foxes are hard to find. They just don't seem to be that popular. They are rarely seen in cartoons, and even still, they are usually portrayed as the bad guy. Some cartoons do actually cater to us fox lovers. Here is a list of some fox cartoons. Most have pictures, so please be patient while loading.

Robin Hood

Released by Walt Disney in 1973, this is the classic story of Robin Hood retold with animals. Robin Hood and Maid Marion are wonderful foxes.

Maid Marion

This cartoon is my favorite, as you can tell.

This cartoon was originally released in 1981 by Walt Disney. The fox, Tod lives with a woman and has a best friend who is a hunting dog puppy, named Copper. Soon, the troubles force him to be released back to the woods where he meets the other prominate fox character in the story, Vixie.

Song of the South

Also by Walt Disney, this movie was originally released in 1946. It was about the well known Brer Rabbit and Brer Fox.

Pinnochio

This is the last of the Disney films. It was originally released in 1940. The fox here, called J. Worthington Foulfellow, was the typical "bad fox" image. He tries to get Pinnochio to agree to things he knows is wrong.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Movie

This animated remake of the classic Rudolph movies features a wonderful new character, a smart-mouthed arctic fox. This movie was released in 1998 by Goodtimes Entertainment.

Plague Dogs

This animated movie was released in 1984 by RowfFilms and was written by Richard Adams who also did Watership Down. It's a sad film about two dogs had escaped a laboratory and are helped along by a fox.

Did I leave any out? If you know of any other fox cartoons I left out, let me know! I'll give you credit for it! Pictures are especially welcome!
