A Parable of the Kingdom of the Most High

Once there was a young man who was about to be anointed as King over the Kingdom of Yahweh upon earth. This prince knew that he was but a man, and a young man at that, without the wisdom it takes to rule well. So he humbled himself before the Almighty and cried out for wisdom to be given to him.

Yahweh was pleased at the young man's earnestness and granted him his desire: he was given wisdom above all men who had ever lived before him, such that his kingdom prospered greatly and was renowned throughout the whole earth for the abundance and majesty bestown upon it.

However, as time went on and the young man grew old, his heart departed from the wisdom and love of Yahweh. He married many women, even taking wives of the nations which he was forbidden by the Law to marry. These strange wives worshipped strange gods and his heart was so turned aside from the truth that he built temples for these strange gods.

Yahweh visited the once-wise King and rebuked him for his shame and failure. Yahweh raised up adversaries against the King and tore the Kingdom asunder, leaving the King's son only one tribe to rule over while the rest of the Kingdom was ruled by one of the King's former servants.

NOW SEE:

This course of events has been repeated in history: Yahweh gave His Kingdom into the hands of His People, the Christians-- those who obeyed the teachings of Jesus the Messiah. He raised up His Kingdom to overthrow the pagan governments of earth, such that the mightiest kingdom on earth at that time, the Roman Empire, professed subjection to the glorious Gospel of Christ. Liberty was granted by royal decree to all Roman citizens to worship the Creator according to the teachings of the Gospel.

Great riches flowed into Christiandom, the people and nations that professed Christ. The hearts of the people and the abundance of their Kingdom were exalted above all kingdoms that came before. However, just as it had happened to the once-wise King, so it happened to the Kingdom of these professing Christians: their worship and undertakings were turned away from the Truth. The pure and simple teachings of Christ were turned towards idolatry in the temples and assemblies of most of those professing to follow Jesus.

Likewise, the Almighty again visited and rebuked those who sat upon the thrones of His Kingdom on Earth. He raised up adversaries against the false Christianity that had corrupted the pure religion of Christ and again He divided the Kingdom.

He raised up a Prophet among the Arabs, a lowly and despised people who were miserable in their own idolatry and superstitutions, some of the lowliest people upon earth. Through His workings, Yahweh overthrew the idolatry of the Arabs and established a religion devoted to submission to the Most High. He allowed this religion to prosper and raise mighty armies and overthrow the proud, idolatrous Christian Kingdoms so that Islam was blessed with abundance and cultural riches that continue to this day.

NOW WHAT IS TO BE DONE?

Islam still stands in the earth, though many Muslims acknowledge that the various Islamic governments and civilizations are somewhat turned away from the purity they were given.

The remnants of false Christianity also still stand in the earth, exhibiting a strange mixture of Truth and idolatry, with traditions and teachings that are contrary to the Christian Scriptures.

There are also those who are seeking to be restored to the pure Faith and fullness of the Kingdom Christ came to give us.

As Jesus stated, the hour NOW IS that those who worship the Almighty MUST worship Him in spirit and in Truth. Let all among the Christians and Muslims who claim to love the Truth therefore seek with all their hearts to know what He will have us do.

The Christian Scriptures declare that we should live at peace with all men as much as possible. The Quran declares that the Gospel Jesus preached is true, even though so many have turned aside from its purity.

Therefore let us seek understanding from the Mind of our Creator: to know the Truth of these things fully and let us obey Him in submission to His will as He leads us into all Truth. As the Quran teaches, let us come to common terms: that we worship none but the Almighty and erect not from among ourselves lords and patrons other than Allah.
