Would many consider a sub to have a beast  within, the need to be released, to allow to devour or be devoured by any means to satisfy  it's inner hunger for lust, total pleasure, the need for pain.
   A submissive has the desire deep within to become in slaved, to give completely of his/her heart, mind and body. But there is also a desire for some to give of even the life, not just as for service or to be used but the life to be cherished or taken.
   When does one know they cross the line from submissive to slave?  All submissives are slaves of the heart,  the heart is the gift of love to give to ones Master or Mistress when a collar is accepted, from the locking of the collar the heart is held captive by the love of the owner.
   A  Honorable and loving Master or Mistress, will care for and nurture Their submissives heart and body and take the mind places in pleasure and pain never before imagined.  But a sub is allowed to hold a part of themselves from their Keeper, a "safety net"  the limit the charge in not willing to go past.  There are Doms/Dommes out there that will not allow one to a submissive, They want total control from the beginning, They do not want to take the time and effort allow one to grow into a slaves heart.  They only desire a robot slave that They can tell what to do, to be used and beat upon so They can feel a strength they do not truly posses within a True Master/Mistress heart.  They are able to Dominate, but not truly be a Master  except possibly a Master of pain.  But that is nothing special, the world is full of Pain Masters.
   Can the slave feel complete in such a way that is both pleasurable and satisfying to both Owner and slave?  slaves are human, real people,  they have a need and are willing to be used to please.  But to allow a submissive the room and time to grow, and with the loving strict guidance of the Keeper, one can not help but have need to release the internal beast, the need of slavery and lay their life at their Master or Mistress' feet to be taken into and devoured completely within their Owners own internal beast as well.
   A complete slave of heart, mind and body could never deny their Master or Mistress of any desires, they would have no need or want to do so.  A true slave would be willing to lay their life down for the taken for the pleasure of the Owner.  But all the same the slave needs to feel the love of the Owner to give such a gift.
   Just to own a slave is not Power, it doesn't make one a Master or Mistress.   The Power comes from tending to and cherishing the slave before You, accepting the responsibility of the possession You now hold within Your grasp and control.  You are the giver of the food they eat, the marks they wear, the air they breath.
