The Taliban/al-Qa’ida prisoners
Ok, I won’t go in to the September 11th issue except to extend My deepest and most heart felt sympathy for all those who have had their lives blighted by that atrocity, and to wish them the happiest lives possible for the future. And yes I know they are not going to have much of that happiness, but I hope they can find some!
What I am going to rant about is the treatment of the prisoners that are now being transported to the US base in Cuba. It is with some dismay that I see in the papers and hear on the news, the organisations like Amnesty and the UN are complaining about the treatment of these people, even My own government are sending representatives to see a few British nationals that have been captured. Can I ask WHY?
I have to admit, I do feel it is a bit ambiguous to say that they are not prisoners of war, they were caught fighting in an armed conflict on foreign soil, when we allies had entered their country, if that is not war, I am sure I don’t know what is. However I think you have to put things in to perspective and ask what brought about this war.
As everyone knows, on September 11th 2001 terrorists from the al-Qaida organisation hi-jacked and flew two aircraft in to the twin towers of the World Trade Centre in New York, another was flown in to the Pentagon, and a fourth was brought down in Pennsylvania by the heroic actions of the passengers fighting to regain control of the aircraft.
What part of the Geneva Convention where they abiding to?
At no point did they waste time considering whether the people in the those buildings, on those planes, on at any other target yet to be found, were combatants in a war, they didn’t think they deserved a second thought, all they were interested in was causing as much destruction, mayhem and pain as they could to the ‘Infidel West’ and to the good people of the United States in particular. Though why they should want to is beyond Me. For years the US provided money and arms to them in their struggle against the Russians when they invaded that poor benighted country that was Afghanistan.
So, now lets get back to the prisoners, they are kept in cages, open to the elements, been shaved, well Boo Hoo, are we to consider them with more regard than they spared their own victims?
Let us ask ourselves, how would our troops have been dealt with had they captured them? I can tell you, if they were lucky they would have been beheaded in public. So in My view they have already had a stroke of luck, a paid holiday in Cuba, fed and watered, LUXURY! So what if it’s their last holiday ever!
And as for My Government sending the British nationals ‘representation’ to hell with that! These people have turned their back on the country that gave them a safe and secure life, free from the tyranny and oppression that the Taliban inflicted on Afghanistan so why the hell should we want to help them? They were quite prepared to kill our soldiers, quite prepared to kill civilians, so in My humble opinion THEY DESERVE EVERY THING THEY GET, so I say to the US authorities, save yourself some money and JUST SHOOT THEM!

Well!!! I was only saying to shydove yesterday that I should
have a page for Me to get on My high horse about things and
have a good rant and rave, and what happens? THE FUCKING
IRA BOMB LONDON AGAIN!!!So here I go!
2nd August 2001 at about midnight the ‘Real IRA’ detonated a
bomb in Ealing, can I ask why?….Don’t worry I’ll tell you!!!Now I’m not going to go in to all the political aspects of why these shits feel they have to bomb innocent people, and I am not going to justify the British presence in Northern Ireland. I am just going to tell you how I feel about it, and if My views upset you TOUGH!
I’ll give a little background in to My family’s history with the
Irish, and maybe you’ll understand why I feel as I do. My family
have been soldiers for as long as records have been kept, I have
a brother in Northern Ireland now, he was a soldier and when
he left the army he joined the Royal Ulster Constabulary. He
moved his family to Northern Ireland and has built a life there,
he loves the area and the people as do I. I Myself spent some time over there. Now, the British Army never asked to be posted to Ireland, they
were sent there in 1969 to protect the Catholic minority, because the ‘Loyalists’ were, at that time, adopting a policy of what has now become known as ‘ethnic cleansing’ the catholic ‘republicans’ were being driven out by violence and intimidation, and despite warnings from the British government to stop, the loyalists carried on with this until the government had no alternative but to send in the army, because the RUC being mostly Protestant was doing nothing to protect the Catholics. When the Army arrived, the IRA seized this on as justification
for a campaign of bombing and violence unsurpassed in modern times, don’t forget there has been no declaration of war between two countries. Showing no regard for who was going to be hurt, they maimed and killed innocent people, the people that were there to protect them, just about anybody that was in range of their weapons was and is fair game. Now I have no problem with a war being fought if it is needed,
and soldiers are legitimate targets, that’s what they are paid
for, to shoot and be shot at, and they understand that. But when they are put among a civilian population there is bound to be casualties within that civilian population. But, and this is a huge BUT! There is now way that the situation in Northern Ireland will be resolved by bombing innocent people in London.I am not saying that the army has been whiter than white in Ireland, I know! But is has never been indiscriminate with it’s violence. It has, in the main, only reacted to violence shown it. The army didn’t put a bomb in a waste bin in the main street in Warrington on a Saturday afternoon killing a young boy as he went shopping, the army didn’t blow up a Remembrance Day Service killing dozens of people giving thanks to those that fell during the two wars, the army didn’t blow up the center of Omagh killing dozens of innocents, the army didn’t blow up the center of London killing and maiming dozens and it wasn’t the army that blew up a band in Deal. And how anybody can justify these atrocities as a political act is beyond Me!
If the army had been allowed to go and deal with this scum, there would be dead Irishmen littering the streets of both Britain and Ireland. But the army has to behave, it has rules of engagement and it’s not allowed to go and find these bastards and shoot them. It’s a bit like going in to a boxing match and finding that you’re not allowed to use your hands when your opponent can.
Now the British Government is having to negotiate with self
confessed terrorists, on both sides. Martin McGuinness has admitted that he ‘commanded’ the IRA in Londonderry, and is therefore responsible for murder and mayhem in that poor town. The apologists for the IRA that style themselves as a political party, Sinn Fein, are now meeting with the British Government, and ‘negotiating’ on behalf of the ‘Irish people’. Yet, despite agreements to give up violence and surrender arms, the IRA have given up nothing. The Loyalist paramilitaries have at least made a show of giving up some of their weapons, the IRA have not even handed over one bullet. There will never be peace in Northern Ireland until the British
pull out. And even then there will not be peace. The scenario will be this, the British pull out and there is a United Ireland, all the republicans will be cheering in the streets, and having parties, happy as can be. And the loyalists will go out with the guns they haven’t given up and start shooting, bombing, killing and it will all start again. And GOOD LUCK TO THEM, it about time the republicans got back some of their own medicine. It’s about time that the British started putting a bomb in Dublin for every bomb that goes off in main land Britain. Perhaps then the Irish government would get off it’s ass and do something about the weapons it allows to be stored on it’s territory for use by the IRA.So back to My question, why bomb London? The answer is
simple……….BECAUSE THEY ARE COWARDLY ASSHOLES!!!!!
