Benjamin Thompson, son of William and Penelope HOLLAND THOMPSON, was born 23 AUG 1823 in Benton County, Tennessee, and died 24 NOV 1863 in Ripley County, Missouri. He married 31 OCT 1844 to Permelia Jane WISEMAN in Benton County, Tennessee. Peremelia was born 14 JUN 1819 in Tennessee and died 3 JUL 1909 in Ripley County, Missouri.

Benjamin and Permelia are buried in Macedonia Cemetery in Ripley County, Missouri.
