Photography Contract

1. This is an agreement between the undersigned, hereinafter referred to as “Customer”, and All Occasion Photography by Jim Medford, hereinafter referred to as “Photographer”.

2. A $150.00 deposit is required to reserve your wedding date. The balance will be due and payable 2 weeks prior to the wedding date.
Exception(s):

3. Should the Customer cancel the Photographer’s services for the wedding date specified in the contract, the Customer realizes that it could result in damages to the photographer. Since it is impossible to ascertain the extent of these damages at this time, it is agreed that the monies paid to the Photographer will not be refunded, except based on the following schedule or as negotiated in the contract. If canceled 2 months prior to the wedding date Customer forfeits 25% of money paid; if canceled 1 month prior to the wedding date, Customer forfeits 50% of money paid; if canceled 2 weeks prior to the wedding date, the money paid is non-refundable.

4. Customer agrees to meet with Photographer no less than 3 days prior to the specified wedding date to provide address and directions, if necessary, to all wedding locations, any special photo requests, and time of wedding events.

5. It is understood that Photographer is the exclusive official photographer, and others taking photographs will be permitted only at the discretion of Photographer.

6. Finished prints and negatives (if package A is selected) will not be delivered until the balance is paid in full.

7. Photographer reserves the right to use negatives and/or other reproductions for display, publication, or other purposes, such as advertising or posting on Photographer’s webpage.

8. Photographer takes the utmost care with respect to the exposure, development and delivery of photographs; however, in the event the Photographer fails to comply with the terms of the Contract, for any reason, the Photographer’s liability is limited to refund of all monies paid by Customer. Once the negatives/prints have been delivered and accepted, no refunds will be given.

9. Pictures are taken with available background. Photographers are prohibited from moving objects or performing any cosmetic duties. Performance of these functions is solely the responsibility of the Customer.

10. Negative retouching is not available. Any touch up will be done on prints and charged at current rates.

11. Additional time is charged at the hourly rate of $50.00.

12. Double exposure and special effects are not guaranteed.

13. Negatives remain the property of Photographer for 3 years, unless prior arrangements have been made to purchase them.

14. Mileage is charged for anything outside of a 50 mile radius of Little Rock. The rate is $.40 per mile..
Exception(s):

15. Any details that are given verbally are not considered a part of this contract. Only written items in this contract will be honored. The Questionnaire and any other forms become part of this contract once they are signed.
