Rose of Tillek Hold

This page is all about Rose (aka Roseboat), a character on Pernmush. (go here to find out more about us there if you've somehow stumbled across this page and have absolutely NO idea what I'm talking about.

So, about Rose, who is the second daughter born to Selchin and Regex - Lord and Lady Holder of Tillek.

Deep blue eyes look out of this rounded little face, the picture of innocence should she want to appear so. Her little snub nose seems usually turned upright, giving this youngster a mischievous look. A sprinkling of freckles cross over that nose and onto her lightly tanned cheeks, which more often than not, are probably streaked with dirt. Straight almost white-blond hair hangs to just past her neck, whisps often flicking around in disarray with the ends slightly curling under. She is 12 Turns, 7 months, and 8 days old.

A well worn shift of pale green fabric falls to her knees, its hemline embroidered with small pink roses linked by greenery. Small capped sleeves also show this embroidery, the only adornment to the otherwise rather drab dress. Ribbons pull it into some kind of shape to her body, reaching around to tie securely at her back. .

She has a very independant streak to her, and is an incurable escape artist. These escapades usually have her end up at the Tillek docks. However, as she gains in independance, and her legs get that little bit longer she's trying to push the limit and get to the Seacraft Hall to see the more of the big boats to the ones that she sees at home.

Unlike the normal childish games of pretending that they are a feline or canine, Rose tends to play at being a boat. In fact, some days she refuses to think about herself as anything BUT a boat, which keeps the household on their toes inventing new ways of talking to the child in terms that she will respond to. This trait seems to have waned somewhat as she has started to get older, and instead she plans for the day that she will be have her own boat.

She has however learned some of the manners that her parents have tried to teach her, and usually seems to know where they are necessary, so as not to totally embarrass her parents.
