"I have received a letter from a Tommie Lacavera where he said that Bailey was also married to Lewtishy (Littitha) Adair. I have found no reference to this, but I have wondered if Tabitha could have been a nickname for Lewtishy (Littitha)? Mr. Lacavera said Lewtishy was buried in the Adair Cemetery on the west side of Victory Road near Carrollton, Georgia. Lewtishy Adair Estes was a daughter of George Adair of DeKalb County (now Fulton County), Georgia. George Adair gave Lewtishy land in Carroll County in 1871 and the cemetery is near the house where the Estes family lived."

Will of David Burleson
In the name of God Amen, I, David Burleson in the County of Rutherford and the state of Tennessee calling to mind that it is once appointed for all men to die, and being in my perfect mind and memory and being desirous to settle my wordly affairs according to my own desire, do make and ordain this my last will and testament disposing of my worldly goods in the manner following:
Item 1---I give to my beloved wife, Ursula Burleson, the following property to dispose of as she may think fit. One Negro man by name Samuel, one bay mare and colt, one sorrel horse, four cows, two beds and furniture.
Item 2---I give to my sons John, Moses, David, William, Hill K. Burleson - one dollar each. I also give to my daughters Sarah Rollings, Mary Brooks, Nelly Rollings, Margaret Pope, Ursula Self - one dollar each. The balance of my estate, whether named or not, I give to my son Isaac Burleson, to him and his heirs forever. In witness whereas, I herewith set my hand and seal, this 28th day of February 1828.

(This record is substantiated by a paper in the possession of Dr. Haskell Burleson Fally, a retired attorney near Murfreesboro in Rutherford county, TN and great-grandson of David and Ursula and son of John Burleson [1730] attesting to the fact that David Burleson took the oath of allegiance

Notes for Ursula Weatherford:
Various sources mention that Ursula was an Indian woman, either Cherokee or Creek. I've even seen refrerences to her as an "Indian princess!" (I feel that's probably wishful thinking.)
