If you're a loyal viewer of the popular MTV program, Total Request Live, you know that "I Want It That Way" was just retired on August 5th, 1999, after 65 appearences. Then my friend had a brilliant idea, there are other Backstreet videos that haven't been on TRL for 65 times! That's where the video for "We've Got It Goin' On" comes in. Now think, wouldn't it be funny if that video kind of came out of nowhere and appeared on the countdown? We think so!
Now this is where you come in. On August 16th, 1999, we're asking that you please vote for "We've Got It Goin' On" by the Backstreet Boys on the MTV website. Before 3pm (Eastern time) on that date, just go to http://www.mtv.com/mtv/tubescan/trl99_new/index.html Then click 'play my song'. As soon as that page loads, scroll down so you can go to the vote box where you type in the video you wish to request. In this case, you would type:
Artists Name: Backstreet BoysThen just scoll back up and fill in all the other necessary information!
Video Title: We've got it goin on
If you don't want to vote that way, bewtween 2:30 and 3:00pm (Eastern Time) on August 16 call MTV at 1-800-DIAL-MTV and vote for it there! Simple as that! (the call is toll free as always)
