The class of 1999


Here is what some of the class of 1999 is up to.

Anne-Maire Denvir-after graduation worked as an archaeologist for ADS Belfast. Then worked on a dig in New York, USA. After returning home to the UK she worked in London on a variety of prehistoric sites and is now backpacking around australia. She returned home in Aug 2002 and is now working for ADS

Sharon Kelly-after graduation worked for ADS doing mostly post-excavation after she broke her wrist. She then worked on a dig in New York, USA and is currently doing a MA Heritage Management in University of Cork.

Bronagh Cappa-went to Sydney, Australia after graduation and worked mostly as a legal temp. After returning to Belfast in May 2000 she worked briefly for ADS and is now working for 'women in politics'in Belfast.

Gretta Logue-also went to Australia after graduation. She worked in a variety of jobs and toured about most of the country doing mad things like Sky Diving. She is now doing MSc Forensic Anthropology at the University of Bradford, England.

Sarah Connor-yes you guessed it also went to Australia after graduation. She returned to the UK and is currently doing a MA in Public Archaeology at Oxford Univerity, England.

Colin Dunlop-was doing a Phd in palaeocology at Queens and was last heard of working in a dig in the Republic of Ireland. We now know he dropped out of his Phd and is working for ADS and NAC Belfast.

Edith Gowdy-worked as an archaeologist with ADS after graduation. After a brief spell working in London she returned and worked with ADS again. She has now left to go and study for her MA in archaeology in Engalnd

Grayson Downs-also worked as and archaeologist with ADS but then went of and got a 'real' job somewhere in Northern Ireland

Christie Howe-was last heard of working in a ski resort in Canada but, is now working in debanhams, Belfast.

Niall Dunlop-after graduation worked at the BT call center. He then worked for ADS as na archaeologist at Nendrum, Co. Down. He then left the world of archaeology and took a job with the Civil service in London in June 2000.

Judith Quinn-has just finsihed her MA in forensic anthropology in england.

Anne Corscadden-is studying Maritime Archaeology at the University of Ulster
