Makaravank Monastery (XII century) is located in Tavush Region of Armenia not far from Ijevan town.

Makaravank monastery is located on the hill in a deep forest.

You can see big rocks on the lefside of the picture. That border with azeris goes by that rocks.. Actually very close.
