The Theodore Whitaker Family

The graves of Theodore and Katheryn Brown Hughes Whitaker are marked with fieldstones. A marker made for Katheryn by Pauline Hodges was made with the information thought to be correct and can be see at the Hughes Page.

Katheryn was married first to a Hughes and had two children, Charley, who moved to Oklahoma and Fredericka 'Aunt Fred', who moved to California. When ? Hughes died, Katheryn then married Theodore c1883 and had one daughter born March of 1884. When the daughter, Myrtle, died, her son, Joe Kenneth was raised by Charley's daughter, Hazel, who was married to a Holstine. According to Joe, Hazel identified the fieldstone markers of Katheryn Whitaker and husband Theodore which we will be marking when all details are known.
