The Brown Family - Part III

Benjamin Franklin Brown was the son of Edward and Margaret Brown. He married Mary Lou Lakey and had xx children.

Their son, Ted Brown, married Hester Evelyn Shrable. Their children are:

Sherman Allen Brown was also a son of Benjamin Franklin and Mary L. Brown and he married Freda.

This pink granite stone measures "H x "W x "D. It is located near the oldest graves toward the center of the cemetery toward the right hand side.

Elsie Lee Brown Pyeatt can remember traveling to the funeral of her Grandpa, Ben. They had to go from Vidette, AR, through Bakersfield, MO, to get to Fluty Cemetery as there was no CR #46 in Baxter County at that time. It was a long ride in those days and Hester said "Why in the world are they sticking him over there in the Boonies?" and Ted said, "Well, That's where his family is buried". And, that's where they are still being buried. You see where Hester ended up - don't you?

Freda Shelby was married to Allen "Brownie" Brown on June 17th 1939 where Freda now lives. Brownie was killed in a car accident in 1952.
