RELIGION: This is a term that a lot of people don't
include as an everyday part of their life. Sad isn't it? Because
it should the the very most important
thing in their lives. This is something that each individual person
has to decide themselves. But what about religion in my life?
I believe in the Bible that it IS the
word of God including where it teaches God created
man and that man did not evolve from some lower life form. This
is where a lot of people have a problem (but most of those people probably
will not be reading this anyway because religion is not a part of their
life) because the Bible is a book of faith
.
So let's take a moment to look at one
of the main stumbling blocks that man has put up for himself. SCIENCE:
Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy science, but if you are not careful you
will forget what science really is. It is 'how all things work and
enter act with each other.' So how is science a stumbling block?
It lacks FAITH. It is based on physical evidence, only.
So now let us look at one of these stumbling
blocks=CREATION. If you believe in God and that the Bible is His
word but have the problem that science has created concerning the age of
the world, universe, falsels, etc. Then my good friend read on:
Let me ask you a question, when God created man, did he create him as a
new born baby or as an adult?=adult. So then could not God when he
created the earth, etc. create it already having x-billion years of age?
Don't ever limit the power of God.(Matt. 22:25 & Matt. 19:26) So you see there really was no
problem at all, that is why when someone ask me how old the world is, I
can say x-billion years old and still be correct and still believe in the
Bible at the same time.
And yes, I do believe in the Bible
as the word of God. And that it contains the way of salvation.
That is why when you get to be 50+ years old you can have a solution to
the limited time we are allowed to live in these aging bodies.
