The contest is still on and the prize is excellent. For those vaselines fans that havent heard Frances' new band SUCKLE you are MISSING OUT I cant say how good it is to finally hear that beautiful voice after all this time. I highly recomend it Frances really does have a great voice and it has a nice overall sound and it is a completely different sound.

Well I dont know just how to start off so I guess Ill tell you a little bit about what has happened to the different mambers of the band since they parted ways
Eugene Kelly - Since the Vaselines Eugene has made some excelent music He was part of the BMX Bandits for their album Star Wars then he left to form Captain America which put an ep entitled Flame On they then changed their name to Eugenius from what i hear that may have to do with copy write infringement but im not sure Eugenius has released two albums and several singles and it is extremely good music he recently did a side project with Frances Mcdonald of the BMX bandits on Mcdonalds label Shoeshine records they released a 45 and are on the shoeshine chartbusters compilation under the name of Astro Chimp
Charles Kelly - ?
Frances McKee - along with James Seenan formed a band around 92 or 93 called the Painkillers which they wanted to be experimental there first record was released on Human Condition records they also released another on PI records she then became a primary school teacher for about 6 years then decided to form another band with a more "traditonal" sound (suckle) since then Frances has formed her own label LeftHand Recordings and is a certified yoga instructer and is teaching yoga classes in Glasgow
James Seenan - Since the Vaselines James has been busy with Frances McKee in thier bands the Painkillers and Suckle however he is no longer with Suckle
Outside of the band one of things you guys should check out is H.P. Lovecraft he was a great writer and you might even recognize a little bit of his influence on the band if you give him a try
