Most teenagers deal with a lot of stress and peer pressure. You know
if your friends are acting weird or maybe your grades aren`t good
enough.Don`t you wish you could tell someone about all your problems.
Well just imagine telling them to St.John Mary Vianney-The Confessor.
St.John Mary Vianney was born on May 8,1786 to th loving parents of
Matthew and Mary Vianney. As a child John understood the meaning of prayer.
He wasn`t a good student, but the thought of becoming a priest kept his
hopes up. He was finally ordained on August 9,1815 and he went to Ars,
a very wicked town, and through intense prayer and fasting brought
about conversion of the whole place. He listened to people`s problems in
confession and could actually read their souls! He loved teenagers and tried
to protect them from evil. He listened to 20,000 people a year from all over France who came to him with their problems. He died on August 4,
1859 and was made a saint by Pope Pius XI on May 31,1925. His feast day is
August 9 and he is the patron saint of all parish priest.
"God chooses your reasons, way, and time of death when you appear out of your
mother`s womb. All men will undergo particular judgement on the day they pass
the world on."
