Introducing Norhaiza Hashim...

I was fortunate to get to know Norhaiza from college in Tampines Junior College in 1992. Norhaiza was in the Commerce stream while I was in the Arts stream but that did not stop us from sharing things and finally end up as really good friends. Our common love of language introduced us to each other and we both took Malay Literature and excelled in it. Now Norhaiza is working as a business economic journalist for the local newspaper in Singapore.

We both like lots of similar things for example going for gourmet spree all around the place. We both like to try out new dishes and Norhaiza, being a journalist and going everywhere for her job duties, get to find some really good restaurants in Singapore.

Us in Hard Rock Cafe in Sydney and inside Jenolan Cave in Blue Mountains.

Sydney Opera House in the background and we also got a chance to see a practice session of the play 'Romeo and Juliet".

Inside the famous Queen Victoria Building where there are lots of shops! We both love the stained glass windows. And in front of Eiffel Tower in Paris.

This is Azlan, Norhaiza's beau/fiance/man *wink*. They got married in April 2000 and I was upset cos I wasn't there to witness it. I am happy for Norhaiza because in her words she received this 'God sent gift' (ie. Mr AZLAN!!!) and I am certain they would make a handsome couple (ok Azlan, how much are you paying me for this hehe) I'll think of something to write when I am in Adelaide so that Azlan will not try to bully me or something when he reads them. *still thinking of stuffs to write, I think the pictures are enough, right Haiza?

And this is the bride and the groom, on the wedding dais or 'pelamin'. I could not attend the wedding because I am in Adelaide (still!). My sister and my parents went there and Azira was there too. I was told, there were SO many people there, but unfortunately, one particular person (ie me...sigh) could not be there, but nevertheless, I am sure it was a beautiful wedding.
