This is Camilia and me at a Teacher's Dinner in 1997. I met Camilia when I came to Ping Yi Primary and we were among the new teachers to be sent to that school. Camilia and me, we found the internet together and we both experienced valuable information via the internet. Camilia taught me to make this homepage and she is a good teacher in that too.
Camilia has her own homepage Camilia's World.
We both had a wonderful time being together and working together. Camilia has one of these rare gifts where she is able to make her friends being comfortable and also have a nice time. We both have shared so many things while teaching and also while travelling to Malacca in Malaysia, Batam in Indonesia and also to Melbourne, Australia. One of the various things that I learnt from Camilia is to know what one wants and to make it true. And also, to know Camilia
is knowing that I have found one of the secrets that makes friends priceless.
This was taken during our Melbourne trip in 1997 in December. We went on the Great Ocean Road tour and in the background, the view of The Twelve Apostles is really breathtaking. The bus ride was tiring no doubt, but the view was really worth it because in Singapore, such view can never be found. We spent about five days in Melbourne and we went on a shopping spree! I don't know why but shopping in Melbourne is better than shopping in Singapore. One of our greatest weakness while travelling is shopping! Shopping with Camilia is great because Camilia is a great shopper for good stuffs.
This was taken in the tram when we were in Melbourne City. The conductor was kind enough to take our photo together while the tram was moving. When we were there, we visited Victoria Central Market and it was really huge. At that time, mangoes were being sold in boxes and I remembered we got one box and ate it in the hotel!
Here we are at Mt Dandenongs. This photo was taken in the garden and I can't remember the name of the plant that we are posing with. I am still holding the eggs from the coop though. Camilia and me, we both really love atmosphere high up in Mt Dandenongs. We both look forward to visiting the place again.
