Who created man out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood.
Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful.
He who taught (the use of ) pen,
taught man that which he knew not.
Al-Quran (96:1-5)
I teach because I want to see my students grow up into individuals who are not ignorant about the world. It doesn't matter to me whether a child is academically challenged or slow in his studies, but with the fire of desire to know and to learn, he can still be looked up upon. One can be smart non-academically, as one can be as intelligent as a scholar with the correct upbringing and nurturing. A person who cannot think critically about the world and only believes in one extreme beliefs is a fool, because he lives in his own world.
A person who is contented with what he has and refused to give chances to himself and others is at loss, because the world is inviting us all the time to learn from it. I believe in knowledge because there are new knowledge to learn everyday, from anything to anyone. I believe in knowledge because it will , gradually lead me to the truth about the world, and with the faith I have in Islam, I feel that I will become a better person.
When I feel that the truth is not accepted, I will use patience, tolerance and understanding to
send the truth, because I am a firm believer of the truth. I also believe that, no matter how difficult the path to the truth is, the truth will come out
and the victor goes to the one who is truthful. For the consequences of being untruthful in the hereafter is frightening. I always believe in
being brave when in the truth, to be brave and determine, because it is the truth.
