ALCOHOLIC STRENGTH: (equiv. to two shots of liquor)
RECIPE:

Bloody Mary

GLASS: Tall tumbler (highball glass) or Wine goblet
PREPARATION: Cocktail shaker required
ALCOHOLIC STRENGTH: (equiv. to one shot of liquor)
RECIPE:
1 measure vodka
2 measures tomato juice
1/3 measure lemon juice
1 dash Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste

This is renowned as an "eye opener" for those not at their best in the morning. It makes an excellent brunch drink as well as a refreshing cocktail before eating. Shake all the ingredients well together with a few ice cubes, then strain into a tall tumbler or wine glass. Garnish with a celery stick which has a few leaves. Add salt, celery salt or black pepper to taste as you serve. If preferred, this drink may be served over crushed ice. For a Bloody Caesar use Clamato juice (clam juice with tomatoes) in place of the tomato for an unusual seafood cocktail in a glass. Add Tabasco for extra punch. This recipe may also be used with tequila to make a Bloody Maria.
