I have been trying to piece together the Pyatt line
since 1972 and until the internet, I wasn't having
much luck. As you can see I don't have a lot of dates
on the descendants of Russell and Myrtle Rae. A lot of
what I have is a composite of information from Sherman
and his sister Dorothy. Information was hard to find
as Chris only knew his grandparents names as grandma
and grandpa.
As you can see Glenda is doubly related to my son's
great grandfather Russell A. Pyatt.
My questions are these:
1. How are you related to this line?
2. Do you have any documentation that shows where
William Peatt joins into the line of Renipate La
Fleur? I have seen his father as Jacob and also as
James.
3. Would you be willing to exchange pictures you have
of the family?
There are members of the family in Ohio and West
Virginia that have pictures if I can get them.
Sherman's aunt and uncle have a bible record that she
is supposed to send me a copy of.
I know I am asking a lot but I really would like to
see our line filled in for the future generations so
that they don't have to face all the brick walls we
have had to face.
I will appreciate anything you can add to the above.
Evidently our Pyatt line changed the spelling from
Peatt to Pyatt. I know the family says the name was
originally pronounced pee-yat.
