Nathan and Fannie had one known child:
This is probably the same Nathan A Pyatt born 11/20/1875 in Arbuckle, Mason Co., West Virginia in the records of Richard O Piatt. That Nathan was in the 1860 Marion Co., OH census. He was the son of John S. and Mary C. (Snyder) Pyatt. These parents died in Cuba, near Trace Fork, Jackson Co., West Virginia. The sources would be the 1870 and 1880 census for Mason County, West Virginia and the death records at the courthouse. John S. Piatt was born 6/16/1840 died 2/13/1896. His wife, Mary Margaret Catherine or Margaret Catherine was born 5/1/1845 and died 10/11/1929. Both are buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Trace Fork, Jackson Co, West Virginia.
According to Laverne Ingram Piatt, Sandyville West Virginia is in Jackson Co West Virginia. Several Piatt families from Monroe Co, Ohio moved to Jackson County after the Civil War. Both the names Nathaniel and Alexander show up in these families at an earlier date, too early to be Nathan Alexander.
