He is buried as 'Izri Pyatt' in the Old Southwest section of Galum Presbyterian Cemetery in Perry County, Illinois. He married on December 26, 1850, in Perry County, Illinois, Mary J Craig who was born December 5, 1830, in Perry County, Illinois and died February 7, 1878, at age '47yr 2m 2dy' in Perry County, Illinois. She is also buried in the Galum Cemetery with Isreal as 'Mary J Pyatt / Wife of Izri'.
