Henry John Pyeatt and Laura Ferguson

Henry and Laura had the following known children:

• Bayard Aiken Pyeatt b: 15 Jul 1888 d: 13 Jun 1952 Lynden, WA [named for his cousin, deceased son of John and Clara Tennant]
• Ada J Pyeatt b: Feb 1890
• Alvin L Pyeatt b: May 1891
• Ina Ruth Pyeatt b: 18 Mar 1893
• Ralph H Pyeatt b: Dec 1896 d: 6 May 1945 [not interred until 1951 - War?]
• Preston T Pyeatt b: Oct 1898
• Esther Joy Pyeatt b: 16 Oct 1905
• Paul Glenn Pyeatt b: 1 Jun 1907

It appears that Peter and Henrietta lived in Washington for a time also, as they and son Hugh appear in the 1889 census, but may have gone back to Arkansas. There are a couple entries in the cemetery record that I can't explain: Jennie Veleke, wife of Samuel Pyeatt. And Ella Lund Pyeatt, no spouse listed. Candace was told by someone that they were a descendant of Rev. T H Tennant's brother.... that that branch had also moved here.... because John Tennant was in Washington. In the marriage records here, there is a Nellie J. Tennant to Roy Campbell in 1911, and an Edith Tennant to Roscoe Riddle in 1912. There are Pyeatts and Tennants in the phone book here in Washington.
