Cartoons I Love!!

My All-Time Favorite Cartoons:

UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson, is my absolute FAVORITE cartoon. If you visit the Calvin and Hobbes Unofficial Page, you will undertand the cartoon a lot more. Calvin is only 6 years old, yet he thinks about the world with an adult head...but puts his thoughts into terms everyone can relate to! Calvin is rude and obnoxious, but he has a heart hidden within.

Hobbes is a stuffed animal, but Calvin sees him as being a real tiger. His parents see him only as a stuffed animal, so you get different views of Hobbes. Bill Watterson gave Hobbes the personality of his own cat, but in a humanistic sort of way. It's the way he thinks that a tiger would act if he could be a human.

Susie Derkins is everything a man can love in a woman...well, almost. She's the cartoon version of the type of girl Bill Watterson fell in love with...his wife! She's sweet, kind, generous, and pretends to hate Calvin. In reality (what reality there COULD be in a cartoon, anyway...)they both have a huge crush on one another!

I LOVE Cow and Chicken!!! You can watch this show on Cartoon Network. You simply must watch it! Chicken is the older brother and cow is the younger, although much larger sister. Mom and Dad are only seen from the waist down.

There is also Red Guy who goes by many many different names. He's basically the bad guy who's actually non-threatening and really a big baby. This has to be the best cartoon on television! Visit Cartoon Network to see all of the cartoons shown on that channel. OR check out Cow, Chicken, Red Guy, or Cartoon Network Games which include some with Cow and/or Chicken. Try them out!!!!

I also LOVE The Simpsons...Homer is so hilarious! He is my favorite character in the cartoon. Well, he and the bully...HE HEH!!!

I don't think that I could leave out Pooh and Tigger! Actually, my favorites from Pooh are Eeyore and Gopher. Eeyore is always so depressed sounding, and he always comes around when a little light needs to be shedded on the subject at hand. And Gopher reminds me of someone I know...I just can't place it at the moment. He always whistles when he talks and he helps the gang out a lot. The whistling is what I love!

Ok, ok...I HAD to add Garfield. I usually like him, but sometimes the cartoon can be a bit lame. Scott is in LOVE with the cartoon. He's always buying Garfield comic books. Ok...he has two. He has two Calvin and Hobbes books, too, but one of them is supposed to be mine (or so he said). He also bought a Mutts for me. I thought that was sweet.

A NOTE ON MUTTS: If you love animals and the funny way they always enjoy life, you'd love Mutts. This cartoon is the BEST! It's always about how these two animals, a cat named Mooch and a dog named Earl, look at life in the simplest yet most complex ways. It's so simple that it takes you a while to figure it out! You've just got to read it to understand what I'm saying... =o)

Finally...Beavis and Butthead...All I can say is that they have this really dry sense of humor sometimes...it's hard to catch, but it's there. They seem really superficial most of the time, but it's the underlying tones I really enjoy. Okay...so I'm making things up so I won't sound so bad...lol. I just like them because they are funny! I like to make fun of things as well. They also get themselves into things that are just hilarious! So SUE ME!!! =o)
