Custom Lightsabers

The weapon of a Jedi Knight. As an apprentice progresses through their training, they reach a stage where they must construct their own, personalized Jedi weapon. Below are a sample of the various custom lightsabers that I have constructed as well as those that my friends have constructed. I have also included a construction guide for a lightsaber similar to one pictured here. If you use this construction guide, I ask that you give credit where credit is due. These sabers were designed and constructed by me!

These were the first two sabers I constructed. I guess you could call them my padawan sabers. They belong to me and my wife, Rayna Joren:

Then I got hooked. I designed and built this one in just two days! In the context of my story, this is the saber that belonged to Kal's father, Dalen.
   

This is Kal's second lightsaber.
   

This lightsaber was purchased from RLSA Sabers and modified by painting certain areas and adding a couple of rubber o-rings. It came with a REAL Covertec belt clip and knob. Rob machines all of his sabers out of aluminum and he really does EXCELLENT work! This is the lightsaber I now wear with my costume.

This lightsaber belongs to Master Xon. Xon was Kal's Master after Dalen's death.
      

I made this saber from a Graflex Synchronizer Battery Case.
