Powers: Odd Man used a variety of "wacky" gimmicks including a weighted tie, slippery oil and smoke-emitting gloves. His P.I. office could turn end over end, disorienting a suspect.

History: P.I. "Clay" Stoner became River City's lone superhero when he adopted the identity of Odd Man. Odd Man used his trademark zaniness to not only defeat evil-doers, but to baffle and humiliate them as well. His first case involved the murder of a reincarnated Egyptian queen.

(Villains United: Infinite Crisis Special #1) - The Society massed in Metropolis, and Odd Man and an army of virtually every hero on Earth confronted the villains and engaged in an epic battle with them.

Odd Man was originally supposed to be a back-up feature in Shade the Changing Man I, but with that book's cancellation Odd Man's debut was in Cancelled Comics Cavalcade. The Cavalcade preserved the copyright of the characters and stories that were never printed due to the DC Implosion when DC was forced to cancel most of its expansion titles.
