My Human Friends and Family

This page will NEVER be completed! Some pictures will have links to other pages with more pictures on them, but some won't. One thing I've realized with doing this page is that I don't have any pictures of a lot of my friends, and that I have crazy pictures (like from Halloween) of some but no "normal" ones! Looks like I'll have to staple a bunch of my friends down and have a huge photo-taking session!

Gram

This is my grandma, Mary. She is 86 years old and lives with my mother. She has Alzheimer's Disease, which makes things difficult. But isn't she cute!

Mom

This is my mom, Phyllis. She works at North Logan Mercy Hospital, a couple of blocks from her house, as a medical transcriptionist. I guess medical stuff runs in the family somewhat (see below).

Sheri

Sheri is my younger sister. She is graduating from nursing school at Tech in May. Yay! I know we look nothing alike, but I promise that we have the same exact set of parents!

Amber

Amber was my roommate in Roush Hall for the 1998-9 school year. We are all sorts of the odd couple! She's a country girl redneck, and I'm...well...you've seen the rest of my site... But we get along wonderfully!

Augie

Augie is so cool. She's so much fun to be around! We have a lot in common. And isn't she a hottie?!

Christy

Christy is one of my Pledge Sisters in Sigma Alpha Iota. This is a self-portrait; I claim no part in it. *grin*

Gerald

I met Gerald after I transferred to Tech. Right now, he's a professional opera singer! Is that cool or what?

Jason

This is the Jason mentioned in my bio on the front page. We met at Westark, both transferred to Tech a year apart, and now he's going to be moving down here next year to start grad school here at UNO! We just can't seem to get rid of each other! Not that we want to... This picture was taken right after he finished his Senior Recital, which is why he looks so relieved.

Keith

Keith is my baby! *grin* He graduates from Tech this May with some kind of business degree...yawn...j/k! He's such a sweetie! And his grandparents own the prettiest farm!

Kristy

Kristy is my Grand Big Sis in Sigma Alpha Iota. She is also a wonderfully sweet person. She's attending graduate school at Loyola University in New Orleans, so we still get to see each other.

Kyle

Kyle is in Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, and is my 1st Lil Bro. I took this picture of him right after his Senior Recital. He's posing with the gift I gave him...an engraved Bible. A mutual friend of ours and I were talking at work, trying to come up with a gift for me to give him, and he suggested this, saying that it was probably the last thing he would expect from me!

Michele

One of my roommates in the campus apartments from Summer 1999 through Spring 2000. It was so confusing...not only were there two Michele's living there (there were three at one time!), but both of us spell our name the same way! What are the odds?!

Sherry

Sherry is my Lil Sis in Sigma Alpha Iota. My one and only... This picture was taken after her Senior Voice Recital, at which she did superbly (and I personally thought that her dress was beautiful too!). Obviously, she is the one on the right...since I'm the one on the left...

Tim

Tim is in Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, and is my 2nd Lil Bro. He is also Kristy's (as in my Grand Big Sis's) younger brother. Funny, non? He's an odd child, but that just proves that he belongs with me!

Tonia

No, Tonia doesn't always dress like this...this was taken of us before going to a Halloween party in 1998. She was dressed up as a genie, and I was...well, I'm not exactly sure... Tonia's an exchange student from Bangladesh, and is both fascinating and completely adorable!

Wylee

Wylee is one of the most interesting, most caring people I know. We are so different (opposite views on religion, politics, etc.) that it is amazing that we get along so well. We're both writers, but he's fiction while I'm creative essay and poetry. He's in grad school in Starkville, MS, so he's only 3 hours away...but I still miss him...
