Welcome to my page. My name is David Porter, and I am a teacher at Henley College Coventry, where I have been working with International Students very happily since January 1990. At first, I worked at the College as a part-time teacher, but I was lucky enough to get a full-time job in 1992. Nowadays, my work involves managing the International Access Programme, teaching English classes, and developing computer systems for language learning. Make sure you try some of the Websites below!!
More personally, I really enjoy travelling, and have visited a large number of countries, including India, China, Thailand, Canada, Jordan and Turkey. More recently, I have been travelling a lot to Brazil, because that's where my wife's family live.
When I am not working -- which is not very often! -- I like to get out into the countryside and walk, especially up in the mountains. I also enjoy cycling and am very keen on photography, although it can be a very expensive hobby!!
