5A-7A Indoor state meet has been delayed to begin at 2:00 on Saturday, Feb. 8th. We will start with the 4x800 relay followed by the 60HH, 60Dash, 1600 run, 400 Dash, 800 Run, 200 Dash, 3200 Run, 4x400 Relay. It will be a rolling schedule (no break after the 4x800 or the sprints). The meet has to be completed by 8:00 so some heats may be combined to a larger field in the distance events.

Instructions for entering the 2014 State Indoor meets on (To be determined.)

STEP 1 - ACCESSING YOUR DIRECTATHLETICS ACCOUNT Each coach must have a DirectAthletics username and password for his/her team. If you don't know your username and password, click HERE. You will use the same account to enter all meets run through DirectAthletics.

**NOTE ABOUT MEN'S AND WOMEN'S ACCOUNTS: You control only one gender at time, so you will complete the below steps for your Men, and then switch to your Women's team and repeat the process (or vice versa). The team you are controlling is listed on the blue navigation bar across the top of your account, for example:

Sport: Track & Field Team: Guilford (M)

This indicates that you are controlling the Guilford MEN'S team (M=MEN). To switch to your Women's team, you would select "Guilford (W)".

STEP 2--SETTING UP YOUR ONLINE ROSTER Before entering an athlete into a meet, you must add all attending athletes to your roster. If an athlete is already on your roster (from previous seasons or meets) you do not need to add him/her again. 1) Upon logging in, click the TEAM tab. (New users will automatically be in the TEAM module)

2) If you have used DirectAthletics before, you will see your existing athletes on your roster. New Users should click the green "Add Athletes" link.

3) Click the green "Add Athletes" link under the Team Roster header. Select an approximate number of athletes you would like to add (you can add more at any time).

4) Enter your athletes' First Name, Last Name, and School Year and click "Submit".

5) You may add, edit or delete athletes on your Team Roster at anytime by clicking the TEAM tab. To add athletes, click the green "Add Athletes" link at any time. To delete or edit athletes, check the box to the left of each athlete(s) and then click the red "Delete Selected" link or the blue "Edit Selected" link respectively.

STEP 3--SUBMITTING ONLINE MEET ENTRIES Once your athletes are added to your roster, you must submit your entries. 1) In the HOME tab (under Upcoming Meets) or in the SCHEDULE tab, click the green Register button next to the meet you wish to enter.

2) If prompted, choose an entry method. We HIGHLY Recommend using the NEW, "Enter by Athlete" method.

3) Follow onscreen instructions for submitting your entries. You will see a running tally of your entries on the right side of your screen.

4) When you are finished with your entries, click the "Finish" link.

5) You will see a list of your current, submitted entries. Click the appropriate link to receive an EMAIL confirmation or a PRINTABLE confirmation.

6) To edit your existing entries, click the blue Edit Entries button next to the meet name on your Upcoming Meets or complete Schedule.

Reminder of Parking:

*Buses may drop off between Tyson Track and Tyson Storage

*Buses must park in Road Hog Park

*Guests may NOT park in Shaver Foods lots…this is a private lot and vehicles will be towed at the owners expense

*Aryshire Parking is not available during Friday during business hours

*Lot 56 will only be open on Saturday unless you get special permission from Transit and Parking (575-7275)

*All Suite Holder and Scholarship parking will not be available

ARKANSAS HIGH SCHOOL STATE INDOOR MEET FOR A-4A Schools on (Feb. 7, 2014

Each school must have two workers to help with running off the meet.

This is a AAA sanctioned meet for high school (9-12 grade) athletes only (no unattached athletes or 7th and 8th graders may enter). entry is $75.00 per team (girls or boys). The fee per athletes competing individually is $15.00. Make checks to the Arkansas Track Coaches Association or ATCA. Payment is due on the day of the meet or mail in advance to ATCA c/o Morry Sanders at 149 River Road Norman, AR 71960.

No more than 3 athletes per team may be entered in a single event and each school may enter only on relay team for each race.

No spikes will be allowed.

T-shirts will be for sale for $10.00 each.

Awards: the top 8 in each event will receive medals and the overall winning and runner-up teams will receive trophies.

THERE WILL BE A MANDATORY COACHES MEETING AT 2:00 P.M. -- BE ON TIME!!!!

3:30 --- Field Events: Boys PV, then Girls PV, Boys & Girls LJ (TJ will follow LJ), Boys Shot then girls shot, Girls HJ will follow the completion of the 60 Hurdles and 60 Dash finals. The Girls Shot will follow completion of the boys shot and the Boys HJ will follow the completion of the Girls HJ.

Upon completion of 60 Dash Finals --- Girls & Boys 4 x 800 Relay

45 minutes after completion of the 4x800 relays --- Other running events: 1600 Run, 400 Dash, 800 Run, 200 Dash, 3200 Run, 4 x 400 Relay.<.p>
