A basic simple method that I use to achieve astral projection.
Purify Myself.
I Lay down, I make Myself comfortable, and close my eyes.
I Ensure that I will
not be disturbed.
I Relax my body, starting at the toes and working towards the head, I repeat this process with every muscle until full relaxation is achieved.
Once I know that I am relaxed, I start to lift my astral body from the
physical. I am not afraid of any feelings as I know this will 'snap' me back in.
I First imagine my leg being removed, then an arm on the opposite side. I move
back to the other leg and then the other arm, I now mentally stand.
I Did not attempt
to leave the room my first time. I Walked around the
room and practiced moving the astral body, I found it is weightless and
is moved by thought, I practiced rolling, jumping, and flying, looking back at
my body I was not afraid.
I Examined all items in the room from all view points, and got used to the idea of
being out of my body.
I return to my body by thinking just that, and the astral body just returns to the physical
I found that it it is best to lay still for a small time to ensure connection
with the physical body, and to ensure that any feelings of imbalance
subside.
There are many other ways to astrally project including working with dreams,
crystals and ritual, for me they all work, but I have been practicing this
art for over ten years.
Visualisation also plays a large part in astral projection especially to get
started.
