
Arnold Schwarzenegger was born in the small town of Thal, AUSTRIA in July 30 1947. The son of Gustav Schwarzenegger, chief of police for the local area, and Aurelia, Arnold Had an older brother,Meinhard, born 1946, who died in a car crash in May 1971. Arnold started school in Thal at the Hans Gross School.In 1962 gets a job as an apprentice carpenter in Graz. Describing his preteen days, Arnold says, "I always had a lot of energy, always wanted to have fun." He started bodybuilding at age 15. In 1965, he annexed the Junior Mr.Europe title, and in 1966 entered his first Mr. Universe contest in London, where he finished second. In the same year he wins the Mr.Europe. In 1967 Arnold gets his first cover on an American Magazine, also he became the youngest man ever to win a Mr.Universe title in London.A year later he win the pro NABBA Mr. Universe in London, and moves to Southern California. In Mexico he wins the IFBB Mr.International.In 1969 September 13 Arnold wins the IFBB Mr.Universe in New York City. September 20 he wins the pro NABBA Mr.Universe in London. September 28 Arnold wins the Mr.Europe in West Germany.In 1970 Arnold stars in his first film"Hercules in New York". Later the same year he wins the pro NABBA Mr.Universe in London.October 3 in the same year he wins hif first IFBB Mr.Olympia title in New York City.In September 21 Arnold wins his second IFBB Mr.Olympia in Paris.In 1972 Arnold begins general courses at Santa Monica City College.In September he wins the IFBB Mr.Olympia in West Germany. On December 11,1972 Arnold's father dies of a stroke at age 65. In 1973 Arnold attends night school at the University of California, Los Angeles. On Sepember 8 he wins his fourth consecutive IFBB Mr.Olympia title in New York. In October Arnold stars in his second movie"The Long Goodbye".In the same month he appears on the Sports Illustrated. In the same month again wins the IFBB Mr.Olympia in New York. In 1975 ,November 8 Arnold wins his sixth IFBB Mr.Olympia title in South Africa, then announces his retirement from competitive bodybuilding. In 1976 Arnold wins a Golden Globe award for best acting debut in "Stay Hungry".In 1981 Arnold becomes a U.S. citizen in Los Angeles. In 1986 he weds Maria Shriver. With whom he as three children, two daughters,Katherine and Christina, and a boy Patrick.
